Terms of service

The customer confirms that it acts for business purposes and that the person accepting these terms may bind the customer organisation. These terms, the order or Checkout details, the Privacy Notice, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any signed data processing agreement form the agreement.

Muuh AS may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the registered contact address. Continued use after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; changes requiring new express acceptance will be presented separately.

SiftBrief retrieves bounded public sources and produces AI-assisted competitive analysis. Features, limits, retention, price, and billing frequency are those shown at purchase or in the active plan.

The customer is responsible for lawful instructions and sources, authorised user access, credential security, its own decisions, and reviewing output before relying on it. The customer must not submit sensitive personal data, confidential third-party data, or content it is not entitled to process.

Muuh AS and its licensors retain all rights in SiftBrief, its software, designs, models, and service methodology. The customer retains its rights in data it submits and grants Muuh AS the limited rights needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

Subject to payment and these terms, the customer may use delivered reports for its internal business purposes. Public-source material remains subject to third-party rights. Feedback may be used to improve SiftBrief without identifying the customer.

SiftBrief purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe service that acts as merchant of record. Link administers payment processing, applicable indirect taxes, receipts, invoices, refunds, disputes, and transaction-level payment support. Muuh AS remains responsible for delivering and supporting the SiftBrief product. Prices, currency, billing frequency, and applicable taxes are shown before confirmation. Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled.

If a paid Snapshot cannot be produced because SiftBrief fails to provide the purchased service and a reasonable retry or remediation is unsuccessful, the customer may request a refund from Muuh AS or Link support. Link may also issue refunds under its Managed Payments terms and applicable law. Dissatisfaction with a correctly delivered analytical conclusion, unavailable third-party websites, or customer misuse does not by itself qualify. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

The customer may cancel a subscription at any time without a notice period. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues only for any already-paid period shown in the service unless immediate deletion is requested.

After paid access ends, automated monitoring is paused and the workspace remains recoverable for 30 days. Starting a new active subscription before the displayed deadline cancels scheduled deletion. Otherwise, active service data is deleted when the recovery period ends, while protected backup copies expire no later than 90 days after the customer relationship ends.

Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable period. Muuh AS may immediately suspend or terminate use that is unlawful, abusive, insecure, unpaid, or materially harmful. Customer service data is handled under the Privacy Notice after termination.

SiftBrief is provided on an as-available basis. Muuh AS does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every public source is accessible, or that AI-assisted output is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, implied warranties are excluded. SiftBrief is not legal, financial, investment, security, or other professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data arising from use of SiftBrief.

Muuh AS total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the purchase amount for the affected service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The agreement is governed by Norwegian law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Kristiansand, Norway, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution.
