SiftBrief uses necessary cookies for secure sessions, CSRF protection, authentication, public Scan and Snapshot capabilities, interface preferences, and storage of the cookie choice. These technologies are required to provide requested functionality and cannot be disabled through the SiftBrief preference panel.

Necessary technologies may include the encrypted Laravel session cookie, XSRF-TOKEN, short-lived Scan or Snapshot capability cookies, sidebar preferences, and the local browser-storage key siftbrief_cookie_consent. Their duration depends on the feature and configured security or access expiry.

Google Analytics is used only after the visitor actively accepts analytics cookies. It helps Muuh AS measure traffic, page usage, and acquisition sources. Google may receive online identifiers, device/browser data, approximate location derived from network information, visited pages, referral data, and interaction events.

Analytics is not required to use SiftBrief. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent does not reduce product functionality. No Google Analytics script is loaded before consent.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics. A new version of this notice causes SiftBrief to request a new choice. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies, although deleting necessary cookies may sign the user out or remove access to an anonymous Scan or Snapshot.
